Redcentric awarded landmark framework agreement with public sector

26 April 2018

Redcentric will connect some 65 public sector organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber region, including local authorities, emergency services, transport and health sectors, in a drive to reduce costs and enable more efficient and integrated delivery of services.

Redcentric plc (AIM: RCN), a leading UK IT managed services provider, is pleased to announce that it has been confirmed as the preferred supplier for Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) and Public Services Network (PSN) services to the Yorkshire and Humber region.

The arrangement will connect public sector organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber region, reducing costs and enabling more efficient and integrated delivery of services. The framework agreement covers local authorities, emergency services, transport and health sectors and will include connectivity to the new Health and Social Care Network and Public Services Network. A total of 65 organisations will be able to connect up to 3,000 of their sites through Redcentric, rationalise their existing infrastructure and achieve significant savings by doing so.

Under the framework Redcentric will be providing connectivity services on its network. The framework is awarded for a period of four years and has the potential to add up to £15m to £20m of incremental revenue per year. Redcentric expects to deliver between £1m and £3m of revenue from the framework in the current financial year and expect this to increase over the life of the agreement as services are mobilised and rolled-out across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Chris Jagusz, Chief Executive of Redcentric plc said, “We are proud to have been awarded this framework, it is a great example of a flexible and collaborative partnership between public and private sectors. It also demonstrates Redcentric’s credentials as a trusted and reliable technology partner.”
